This is the same sort of trip we took last summer to Loveland, CO. It's a wonderful service opportunity that will open our eyes to the needs of people so close to home--just an hour up the road!
Gathering/Conference Type Trip
July 12-15
On the campus of Illinois State University
Bloomington/Normal, Illinois
"Dare to be Lutheran" is the motto at Higher Things. During these conferences we will be dared to be different, Christ-centered, putting JEsus at the center of what you believe, and do.
Higher Things holds multiple conferences each summer, hosting anywhere from 350-1200 young Lutherans at each conference. These conferences provide a great opportunity for youth to learn more about what Christ's death on the cross means for them while meeting other Lutherans their age from all over the world. At Higher Things conferences, the worship is worshipful, the study is studious, and the fun is, well, fun!
